COUNTRY VILLA.
Berlin, Germany Concept - 1st Proposal (2013) - 2nd Proposal (2018)
The concept is to create a simple and cheap house with some interesting shape movement; splitting the walls of 24° creates interesting views and corners. There’s a difference between the living and the night area by 4 steps; externally a black steel stripe goes all around the house, incorporate the shutters movement elements and it’s repeated on the top, to delimitate the terrace roof area. Orientation north/south guarantees a perfect illumination and a correct solar exposition.
A second version (shown here at first) has the addition of a small studio, including a service bathroom, which is attached to the living area via a closed and glazed walkway. The roofs are organised as terraces and green deck for the summer time.
