Villa morphosis.
Berlin, Germany, Concept - (2019)

For the final test of a course on the use of the ArchiCAD programme, I was asked to draw up the design of a residential building in the time span of a week.

I wanted to test the potential of the programme, drawing an idea, a vision that I had some time ago and which had remained in the form of a drawing.

A villa that fits in and conforms to the natural landscape of the countryside or the hillside, depending on where it is inserted.

An organic form with open spaces for the living area acts as a theatre for the sleeping area, which is more intimate; one metre higher than the rest of the house it is characterised by a central part with plants to purify the air during the night cycle.

The wall structure is made of wood with an external brick layer and insulation for energy class A+ rating. The roof is supported by glulam beams, which in turn are supported by tree trunks that have been suitably healed and treated with natural sealants. Geothermal heating, solar and photovoltaic panels contribute to the building's energy independence.
