Paolo zardo
MA Architecture (Ger) - Architetto (It) - Founder
Born in Italy
Lives and works between Berlin, Germany and Udine, Italy
The passion is his driving engine in every decision and design choice in a project.
A transdisciplinary vision through music, art, design and architecture ground his design research.
Master Degree in 2006 in Architecture at the Venice at IUAV (Venice Architecture University).
Architecture Habilitation License in 2008.
In 2008 he worked in Dublin - Ireland, resulted in a 2nd place in the Meath County Council International Competition.
From 2009 till 2011 he studied jazz and music theory at the Music Conservatory (Udine, Italy).
In 2012 he worked as a Research Assistant in Sustainability at the KADK in Copenhagen - Denmark, approaching the first BIM prototyped computer programs like Vasari and Ecotech.
At the end of summer 2012 he landed in Berlin, working for several offices till 2021.
In June 2021 moved back to Italy where he currently works on different projects and won the 1st Prize at the Midolini International Award Competition with Philip Raphael Light Designer.

Francesca Mori

Born in Italy
Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
Master graduation in 2010 at the University of Architecture Valle Giulia in Rome.
From 2010 till 2013 she works in Rome in different practices participating in national competitions and various projects the most important of which are for the reconstruction of the Abruzzo Region after the 2009 earthquake.
In 2012, she obtains the Abilitation Licence for the Architectural Practice Qualification. In the same year, the architect Marilena Ramadori includes two of her graphic designs in the book Manuale dei Solai Innovativi Tradizionali, under the publisher Orienta.
In 2013, she moved to Berlin making an Internship in a custom-made furniture carpentry.
Since 2015, she works in different Berlin architectural offices and in parallel with individual projects of design as freelancer, realized through artisan business.
In 2017, she collaborates with Paolo Zardo, where they designed a modular furniture line, ready to be soon produced.
Philip Rafael
MA Product Design
Born in Portugal
Lives and works in Berlin, Germany
"Young Designer of the Year’ award in 2003 for the design of a table lamp.
From 2008 till 2012 he works with BDP Lighting in the UK.
In 2012 he is associate director at Studio Illumine in China.
In 2016 Philip moves to Berlin and joins forces with The Flaming Beacon as associate at their studio working on a range of high-end hospitality projects across the globe.
In 2018 Philip receives the ‘40 under 40’ award by the Lighting Magazine.
In 2021, Philip launches In’Sight Lighting Design office based in Berlin and collaborates with Paolo Zardo in the Midolini Award Competition for the landscape design and requalification of an urban park in Italy gaining the 1st price.
